Prestashop Private Shop is the only module that comes with 2 layers of privatization – First you can hide the entire store and make it accessible to registered users only. You can choose to enable signup form to accept new user registrations and manually validate new users or set them on auto-approval.

 

Once the users are logged in they can access your entire store or you can choose to keep some VVIPs sections as password protected. The registered users will have to provide the password to access those VVIP products, categories, and pages. You can add multiple password protection rules to hide different pages from different customer groups and add create multiple access passwords.

 

With this module, you can choose to keep only one layer of privatization as well. That’s is - privatize store from visitors and keep it accessible for all registered customers only with no password protection. Or you can keep the private-store feature disabled i.e. allow visitors and registered users to access the store freely and add password protection to all or specific products, categories, and pages.
