Module's Features
  • Displays how much left until free shipping by using default PrestaShop setting.
  • You can use carrier price range settings, to set different free shipping for different carriers or different regions. Using for different regions you might need enable PrestaShop GEOIP feature.
  • It can display price tax inclusive, tax exclusive or by customer group. Note: tax exclusive or customer group which has prices set as tax exclusive display, will work only if all your products uses same tax rule.
  • Free shipping text. You can set text inside the module using variable which allows you to restructure the message. This is useful if it sounds better when price is not at the end of the sentence in your language.
  • Ability to display/hide block when customer's cart is empty.
  • If product's price is higher than free shipping amount, e.g. 150 € when free shipping is from 100 €, it can show the message in product page that this product has free shipping instead of displaying the block how much left.
  • Custom block allows to add block wherever you want in your template files.
  • Ability to style block differently for each position. It is useful if you have different background used, e.g. in cart dropdown.
  • Multistore compatible.
  • Compatible with PrestaShop Geolocation (GEOIP) feature.

Possible display positions
  • Product page below “Add to cart” button;
  • Block cart module in the top (when hovering and cart opens). Note: PrestaShop 1.7. does not have block cart module out of the box;
  • Checkout (summary) page;
  • Custom position. You can use custom hook anywhere in your template files where you would like to add the block. Please, note, you might need to modify style (CSS) in order to make it look good.

Carrier price range settings example and notes
You can set different free shipping amount for different carriers via carrier price ranges.

With module option Calculate by carriers range enabled, it will calculate by carrier ranges, which has some specifics. Default carrier must have price ranges, e.g.:

- 0-50 EUR -> 5 EUR shipping cost
- 50-99999 -> 0 EUR shipping cost.

You can set up second carrier the same way.

Notes:
- With this option enabled, default PrestaShop setting "Free shipping from" price must be 0.
- Default carrier cannot have free shipping (or 0,00 EUR price). Otherwise customers initially will have free shipping until they change the carrier in the checkout.
- It works with price ranges only. If you have carriers with weight ranges and want to set free shipping for them, because you cannot have both, weight and price ranges. We plan implementing free shipping rules feature in the near future.
- If you have GEOIP feature enabled, it would help "choosing" the initial carrier for customer if you use different carriers for different regions.
