With this module you can apply the concept of Dimensional Weight to establish a minimum charge for the cubic space a package occupies.

The Dimensional Weight is a calculation of a theorical weight of a package based on is volume. If this calculated weight is greater then the real weight, then it will be used to retrieve the shipping charges.
If your carrier apply this concept and you don't have this module installed, maybe you will be charged more than expected.
This Module allow you to apply the Dimensional Weight calculation while retrieving the shipping charges.
The Dimensional Weight calculation is applied both during the cart checkout in front-office and add/modify orders in back-office.

Installation
Easy to install, everything is automated. Simply upload the module into the modules folder of the site, then in the backoffice, click on install.

(Length x Width x Height) / volumetric factor.
Dimensional Factor will be available from your freight carrier.
- Activate the calculation of Dimensional Weight for each carrier
- Set the volumetric coefficient for each carrier
