Installation

Standard installation is done via Prestashop Upload module.


Caractéristiques

The official "Aftership" plugin (https://www.aftership.com/apps/prestashop ) tracks your PrestaShop orders and obtains delivery updates from 708 couriers such as  UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL all in one place.
It also  notifies customers about real-time delivery updates (shipments are in transit, info received, available for pickup, failed attempt, exception, out for delivery and delivered) .

"Aftership Listener" module is a webhook that

  •     all Aftership shipment notifications are stored in tables  
  •     order status can be changed based on the shipment status tag ( "Aftership-delivered" -> "Complete - Successfully completed", "Aftership - exception" ->"Problem - Problems with transport / delivery / return" etc …)
  •     presents a well-arranged list of active shipments that includes information about shipment delivery times as well as a list of all shipments
  •     a tabsheet is added into Order detail with an overview of shipment tracking that includes a graph, a direct link to aftership shipments page, tracking links and messages with state of shipment from each checkpoint
  •     it is possible to analyse all shipments (using graphs and/or numerical results) at the global level or detailed by couriers or by destinations
  •     makes previous shipments tracking data available for download

To be done at Aftership site
  • working Aftership account
  • Aftership API key
  • Webhook Secret key
  • generated "Aftership Listener" Webhook URL has to be added to Aftership page

To be done at Prestashop site
  • install and activate the official "Aftership Connector" (that automatically tracks your orders every two hours)
  • enter all Aftership keys into the "Aftership Listener" configuration page
